STUDENTS' RECENT BOOK CONTRACTS, PUBLICATIONS AND AWARDS Austin Duffy, an oncologist who studied in NYC and Online, has just learned that Granta will publish his debut novel, This Living and Immortal Thing in spring of 2016. Maggie Wells landed a book contract with Epic Press to publish a series of six young adult novels in Spring 2015. Maggie is a NYC Level II student. Craig van Rooyen's poem "Waiting in Vain" won the 2014 Rattle Poetry Prize. He has had more than a dozen poetry publications in the past year, and is a student in the Advanced Poetry Class.
