Friday February 17, 7PM: The Writers Studio celebrates The Gettysburg Review with readings by Peter Stitt, editor; Emily Raboteau; Michael Waters and Carol Frost and Writers Studio faculty Isabelle Deconinck; Eleanor Kedney; and Cynthia Weiner, assistant director. Reception follows the reading.

Friday April 21, 7PM: The Writers Studio celebrates National Poetry Month with readings by Campbell McGrath, Mac Arthur Award winner whose most recent book of poems is Pax Atomica ( Ecco/Harper Collins); Robin Robertson, one of Scotland's most celebrated poets and author of Swithering (Harcourt); Philip Schultz, founder and director, who will read new poems including "The Adventures of 78 Charles Street" which appears in this week's New Yorker, and Duncan Bock and Leslie Findlen, writers from the Master Class. Adam Haslett, who was a finalist for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award for his debut book, You Are Not a Stranger Here: Stories (Doubleday 2002) will read with students from the Master Classes: Odette Chatham Baker, Patrick Cole, Yetsuh Frank, Joanne Naiman, Sheila Welch.

The Writers Studio celebrates National Poetry Month: Philip Schultz reads from his new book, Living in the Past (Harcourt 2004), along with students from the Master Classes: Isabelle Deconinck, April Heck, Lucinda Holt, and Steven Radwell. Book signing and party to follow.
