“The American Academy of Arts and Letters has elected Baruch College’s Distinguished Professor of English Grace Schulman, PhD, to become a member of its Department of Literature. According to the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the honor of election is ‘considered the highest form of recognition of artistic merit in this country’.” Grace Schulman has been a member of The Writers Studio Advisory Board for over 30 years, and has been a frequent guest in our Craft Class, where she discussed her poetry collections, Without A Claim and The Broken String. You can find these classes in the Craft Class Archive here. (Type “Schulman” in the search bar.) In the fall of 2018 the author discussed her memoir, Strange Paradise: Portrait of a Marriage.
