We are pleased to announce that The Writers Studio is opening a new Hudson River Towns branch that offers classes in person in Hudson-on-Croton, New York. This branch operates like our flagship New York City branch, using the tried-and-true method developed by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Philip Schultz.
Nancy Matsunaga, who has been a Writers Studio teacher since 2007 and founded and directed the Amsterdam branch of the school, will direct the Hudson River Towns branch. After ten years in Munich, she has recently returned to the New York area, where she is working on a novel and a book of short stories. Her stories have been published in the journals Calyx and American Writers Review and anthologized in The Writers Studio at 30. She was a finalist for the 2021 Chester B. Himes Memorial Short Fiction Prize and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. For more information about the Hudson River Towns branch, email email@example.com.
