In the Advanced Class, students are encouraged to recognize their own strengths and limitations as writers so that they may consciously develop narrators, and consequently a writing style, that is uniquely suited to them. The goal of this class is to help students discover a way of writing that can be sustained throughout their lives. Students at this level, while continuing to do exercises from the Craft Class, routinely complete poems and stories to submit for publication, and work toward creating a book-length manuscript. Teachers in the school also participate in this workshop. Students in the Advanced Workshop may move into an Online Level IV class with the permission of the online teacher.
Open only to those students who have completed the Intermediate Workshop and by permission of the teacher.
