2018 NYC Poetry Fest

We will be featuring a special reading with Writers Studio faculty members Lisa Bellamy, Sherine Gilmour, and Julianne Bond, and celebrating the forthcoming publication of Lisa Bellamy’s poetry collection, The Northway, due out this fall with Terrapin Books.  The reading will take place on Saturday, July 28th at 2:30 on Chumley Stage, Colonel’s Row, Governor’s Island. The festival will be held from 11:00am – 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, July 28th and 29th. Admission is free.

Box Turtle Press presents a star-studded launch of Mudfish 20 , with readings by Erica Jong, Philip Schultz, Jennifer Belle, and Jill Hoffman. The issue is dedicated to the late John Ashbery, and poet, artist, and Mudfish editor Doug Dorph, featuring new work by Donald Hall, three collages by John Ashbery, and with a portrait of Donald Hall on the front cover and his wife, the late Jane Kenyon on the back. Philip Schultz is the judge of the Mudfish 20 Poetry Prize.
